Lost but never forgotten
Some of the dogs who shared their lives with me and are forever remembered.
Although not every dog is featured here, each and every one has left an indelible mark on my heart. We remember them all with love, gratitude, and a touch of sadness. Some left us far too soon, while others lived long and happy lives, but each and every one of them was deeply cherished and enjoyed an active, fulfilling, and dignified life. Their paw prints remain forever in our hearts.

Martta was my soulmate dog — if such a thing truly exists. Losing her was, without question, the hardest goodbye I have ever faced. She was my shadow, my constant companion, and my closest friend through every chapter of life. My love for her is endless.
Martta was an extraordinary coursing dog, consistently placing among the very best, and at her very first competition she was awarded “Best in Field”.
She was beautiful, fearless, powerful, and incredibly fast, yet at the same time the gentlest, sweetest, and softest soul imaginable.
She never needed words or correction — a simple glance, a nod of my head, or the expression in my eyes was enough for her to understand exactly what I wanted.
The bond we shared was truly something rare and special, and I do not believe any dog could ever fill her shoes.
